We offer a range of art shuttle options to ensure that your art is safeguarded no matter where in the country it’s going. Our secured, licensed, and fully insured art shuttle provides white-glove, climate-controlled, air-ride art transportation.
The art shuttle runs monthly across major cities across the North East. It runs quarterly to California and other Western states. At Museum Services, we pride ourselves on our flexible fine art transport service offerings – our routes are flexible and based on your needs. We also offer custom transport options for those in need of more personalized service.
Our art shuttle is your full-service transportation solution. We safely transport everything from 2D artworks like paintings, prints, and photographs to 3D works like sculpture and ceramics or antiques and designer furniture. Whether your work is soft-packed, crated, or blanket-wrapped, our skilled drivers will handle your pieces with the utmost care.
All art we transport is kept within an ideal temperature range between 60-70° F, protecting it from the heat of the summer and cold of the winter, as well as the potentially damaging moisture of humidity.
Each truck is outfitted with an air-ride suspension system, which provides for a smoother ride, minimizes vibrations, and protects the artwork onboard from irregularities in the road.
Our trucks are equipped with custom shelves, ideal for works that need to ride flat or are smaller and need a bit more protection.
The location of every MSI truck is constantly monitored via GPS tracking, so we know exactly where your art is on its journey at any given time.
Security locks that only open at the delivery points seal the truck off from unauthorized access. Drivers are notified immediately if the truck is opened by an unauthorized person.
Our shuttle drivers are trained art handlers, not regular delivery personnel, so you can trust that your pieces will be handled with the appropriate measures for the medium.
Our drivers will personally contact you at multiple points along the journey, giving you an estimated time window that narrows and becomes more precise as the actual delivery date approaches.
Clients also have the option of scheduling an exclusive-use shuttle. Our team can work with you to create a personalized shuttle should your project require a higher level of service. Whether your transportation needs are time-sensitive or the artwork is especially large or valuable, our exclusive vehicles allow you to have a dedicated truck from start to finish.
