Quality archival materials

Utilizing archival materials and techniques, we care for your artwork to ensure its appearance and longevity.

Framing

We use high-quality hardwood lumber and eco-friendly finishes to produce an array of aesthetics custom to each work. All natural wood finish Rubio Monocoat is used to achieve a vast spectrum of colors and finishes. Popular woods are ash, maple, walnut, oak, poplar, and mahogany. In addition to contemporary and traditional wood frames, we also provide metal frames, vitrines, and designer molding.

Glazing

For glazed artwork, museum glass and a variety of acrylics, including Optium, is offered for protection against UV light. Optium, conservation acrylic, and museum glass can last for decades with proper handling and maintenance and filter up to 99% of harmful UV light.

Matting

Using archival materials, we create custom mats for each work. We cut a variety of custom mat styles, including beveled edge and reverse bevel.

Hinging

To securely present your work, we offer various archival hinge options and techniques. Our hinging methods include linen, Japanese paper, framer’s tape, and conservation corners.
