Annually our family spends several weeks on the Gunflint Trail and
wilderness photography is a special hobby. Subjects can range from
moose, ospreys, violent storms, or, in this case, a luna moth resting
on a wood carving of a black bear. The photographer in this case is
John R. Finnegan Jr. who spotted the subject when returning from a
early morning hike.
