THE WHITE FLOWER was painted as a commemorative poster for sale. There were no design constraints. I art directed and painted the piece, which was printed locally. It won awards from COMMUNICATIONS ARTS and PRINT and received the GOLD MEDAL for Advertising Art from THE SOCIETY OF ILLUSTRATORS, Los Angeles, 1999. Signed copies of the poster are available through the artist.
